<p>A newly redesigned version of the popular GORE-TEX Mid Cut SPM-611 Black, originally released in 2011, is now available. Featuring GORE-TEX with outstanding waterproof and breathable properties, it incorporates a water seal between the shoe and the tongue for a seamless design, significantly enhancing waterproofing. Only a handful of factories in Japan are certified by GORE-TEX. Among these, this she meets all material standards and has passed GORE's rigorous testing as a finished product, making it a truly valuable pair. A subtle contrast of a single gray line on the foxing tape against a black base has been paired with antique-textured black eyelets for a cool impression. The gold-printed GORE-TEX logo and side stitching add understated, stylish sophistication. The upper is crafted from black smooth leather, offering versatile appeal that transitions seamlessly from business settings to casual outings. It elevates smart-casual ensembles like tailored slacks or blazer-and-pants combinations, while also adding a sharp, polished edge to casual bottoms like denim or military pants.<br><br>
【GORE-TEX】<br>
GORE-TEX is a high-performance fabric developed by WL Gore & Associates in the United States. Its defining feature is the combination of waterproofing, breathability, and windproofing. It is a high-performance material created by laminating a membrane made from the fluoropolymer “ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene)” to an outer and inner layer. The specialized membrane features countless extremely fine pores, designed to be smaller than water droplets yet larger than water vapor molecules. This structure effectively blocks external rain and snow while allowing sweat vapor generated inside the body to escape outward. As a result, it minimizes moisture buildup inside the garment, maintaining comfortable wear even over extended periods. Furthermore, it is lightweight, highly flexible, and exceptionally durable. It is widely used not only for outdoor activities like mountaineering, trekking, and skiing, but also for everyday rainwear. It is highly regarded worldwide as a reliable material even in harsh environments.<br>

Outsole: Made from natural rubber, offering excellent elasticity, durability, grip, and flexibility. Features a shallow “No.8 Outsole”
Insole: Highly resilient soft latex sponge

Keita
Usual shoe size: 27.0 cm (US M 9 / EU 42.5)
I wear a 27.0 cm in the Nike Air Force 1, but I chose 26.5 cm (size L) in Spingle.
Spingle feels softer underfoot than the Air Force 1. In my case, a 26.5 cm Air Force 1 feels a little tight near the base of my big toe, so I size up to 27.0 cm. In Spingle, 26.5 cm (size L) is comfortable as is.
If you usually wear a 27.0 cm to 27.5 cm in the Air Force 1, size L (26.5 cm) is where I'd start in Spingle.
Take
Usual shoe size: 26.5 cm (US M 8.5 / EU 42)
I wear a 26.5 cm in the Adidas Samba, and I chose the same 26.5 cm (size L) in Spingle.
The two are close in size, and the fit carries over almost exactly. The leather molds to your foot as you wear it, so Spingle feels good from the first step and only gets better from there.
If you usually wear a 26.0 cm to 26.5 cm in the Samba, size L (26.5 cm) should feel right in Spingle.
Kota
Usual shoe size: 26 cm (US M 8 / EU 41)
My foot width is average, and I usually wear size L. From the first wear, it holds the whole foot snugly, but never feels tight. As the leather molds to your foot, the fit only improves, and it stays comfortable through long days on your feet.
Shohei
Usual shoe size: 28 cm (US M 10 / EU 44)
My foot is on the wider side. If I pick my size by length alone, the laces splay open, so I go up one size. Laced snugly, they fit comfortably.

A GORE-TEX mid-top in black, for any weather.
The SP-611IL is a mid-top built around GORE-TEX. It keeps water out and lets moisture escape, so the inside stays comfortable in the rain. The membrane has pores smaller than a water molecule: rain cannot get in, but the heat and damp from your foot can get out. It is light and flexible, so the shoe still feels like a shoe.
A black mid-top that goes with anything.
Redesigned from the SPM-611, first released in 2011, it keeps a simple monotone look. The black goes with a suit or with weekend clothes, blending seamlessly with any outfit.

Usual shoe size: 24.5 cm (US W 8 / EU 38.5)
I wear a 24.5 cm in the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, and I chose the same 24.5 cm (size S) in Spingle.
The two run close in size, so there's no real difference to note. Spingle feels good from the first step, and the leather molds to your foot the more you wear it. If you usually wear a 24.0 cm to 24.5 cm in the Mexico 66, size S (24.5 cm) is a good place to start in Spingle.
