These thong sandals are made of kangaroo leather, which is synonymous with SPINGLE. The footbed is made of SPINGLE's original footbed developed by repeatedly adjusting its hardness to make it softer and more comfortable. In addition, to ensure comfort, the leather part of the insole, which the foot sole actually comes in contact with, is made of a functional material with excellent moisture absorption and release properties equivalent to natural leather. A key point is that the 8mm EVA midsole provides a sole which is just the right thickness. The sides of the sandals are made of suede, and the contrast between the different materials creates a sense of high quality.

The SP-1826 puts a moderate V-cut on a simple plain toe. It keeps the foot looking clean, so it sits easily with everyday clothes or work wear. The pebbled cowhide has just enough character to be easy to wear. Nothing flashy, just the pair you keep reaching for.

A slip-on you just step into. The footbed uses a moisture-wicking material over a soft latex sponge that holds without sinking, so it sits right under the sole. The lining keeps stuffiness down, so a long day stays comfortable. Easy to wear, every day.

Built by hand in Fuchu City, better with wear.

Every pair is made one at a time at our factory in Fuchu City, Hiroshima. We have built shoes here since 1933, adjusting the last and pattern again and again to fit the Japanese foot. Our craftsmen cut the leather and finish each pair by hand. That is where the quality comes from.

The wave sole: made to last, made to repair.

Spingle's wave sole cushions, holds up, and flexes, and it can be repaired. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day. We keep building it by hand at our Fuchu factory, which is why it stays with you for years.
