The upper design of SP-110 is beautifully reproduced in a finely knitted high-gauge knit. The high-gauge knit is highly elastic and easy to put on and take off, and even feel smooth and gentle on bare feet, as if you are wearing socks.
These sneakers are breathable and comfortable to wear even in hot weather. The cup insole provides cushioning and anti-bacterial/odor control, and can be removed for washing in water.
*We do not recommend washing the shoes in water. For knit materials, we recommend brushing or gently wiping with a tightly wrung wet towel.

STAFF COMMENT
Keita
Usual shoe size: 27.0 cm (US M 9 / EU 42.5)
I wear a 27.0 cm in the Nike Air Force 1, but I chose 26.5 cm (size L) in Spingle.
Spingle feels softer underfoot than the Air Force 1. In my case, a 26.5 cm Air Force 1 feels a little tight near the base of my big toe, so I size up to 27.0 cm. In Spingle, 26.5 cm (size L) is comfortable as is.
If you usually wear a 27.0 cm to 27.5 cm in the Air Force 1, size L (26.5 cm) is where I'd start in Spingle.
Take
Usual shoe size: 26.5 cm (US M 8.5 / EU 42)
I wear a 26.5 cm in the Adidas Samba, and I chose the same 26.5 cm (size L) in Spingle.
The two are close in size, and the fit carries over almost exactly. The leather molds to your foot as you wear it, so Spingle feels good from the first step and only gets better from there.
If you usually wear a 26.0 cm to 26.5 cm in the Samba, size L (26.5 cm) should feel right in Spingle.
Kota
Usual shoe size: 26 cm (US M 8 / EU 41)
My foot width is average, and I usually wear size L. From the first wear, it holds the whole foot snugly, but never feels tight. As the leather molds to your foot, the fit only improves, and it stays comfortable through long days on your feet.
Shohei
Usual shoe size: 28 cm (US M 10 / EU 44)
My foot is on the wider side. If I pick my size by length alone, the laces splay open, so I go up one size. Laced snugly, they fit comfortably.

A summer-knit sneaker that wears like a sock.
The SP-1501 takes the SP-110 upper and rebuilds it in a high-gauge knit. It stretches enough to step in and out with the laces still tied, and it fits gently. Soft against bare skin, light as a sock, and breathable enough for the heat.
Soft, stretchy, no pinch. Knit you forget you're wearing.
The summer knit is soft, light, and smooth, the kind of feel that makes you forget you have shoes on in the first place. It stretches without pinching, more like a sock than a shoe.
A washable footbed that keeps things fresh.
The footbed cushions, breathes, and resists odor, and it lifts out for a rinse, so it stays clean. Keep water off the shoe itself: simply brush off dust, then wipe gently with a well-wrung damp cloth to keep clean.
90 years of skill, and a sole you can repair.
We have built shoes in Fuchu City, Hiroshima since 1933, adjusting the last and pattern to fit the Japanese foot. The outsole cushions, flexes, and lasts, and it can be repaired. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day. That is what comes of making it by hand ourselves in Fuchu.

Usual shoe size: 24.5 cm (US W 8 / EU 38.5)
I wear a 24.5 cm in the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, and I chose the same 24.5 cm (size S) in Spingle.
The two run close in size, so there's no real difference to note. Spingle feels good from the first step, and the leather molds to your foot the more you wear it. If you usually wear a 24.0 cm to 24.5 cm in the Mexico 66, size S (24.5 cm) is a good place to start in Spingle.
