This top-class popular classic model is made of kangaroo leather with a focus on comfort. Kangaroo leather combines softness, high strength, and lightness, and is a popular material used for baseball and soccer spikes due to its characteristics.
Upper: Kangaroo leather
Outsole: Made of natural rubber, with excellent elasticity, durability, grip and flexibility. Deep "No.8 Outsole"
Insole: Resilient and soft latex sponge
Lining: Breathable grained synthetic leather
Laces: Stone patterned flat laces
Sizing: Same as SP-442 (*slightly different due to differences in materials and design)

Unchanged since the brand began.
The SP-110 has not changed since the brand began. If you picture Spingle, you probably picture the wave sole, and this is the shoe that put it on the map. Everything people know about that sole starts here.
The origin: SPM-101, from cowhide to kangaroo.
The SP-110 begins with the SPM-101, our first model. The question was simple: could we put 90 years of factory skill into a shoe of our own? Over years, our craftsmen reworked the last and the pattern until the first Spingle, the SPM-101, took a shape that owed nothing to trends. The SP-110 is what happened when we took that cowhide shoe and rebuilt it in kangaroo leather.
Soft, light, strong.
What people come back for is the way it feels on the foot. Kangaroo leather is far stronger than cowhide, so we can work it thin and keep it soft and light. It is the same leather used in soccer and baseball spikes. You feel the difference the moment you put it on.
Repairable, so it stays with you for years.
Spingle's wave sole cushions, holds up, and flexes, and it can be repaired, so it stays with you for years. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day. That is what comes of making it by hand ourselves in Fuchu, Hiroshima.
